U4GM Black Ops 7: Mega Abomination Boss Tips

#1
Act II: Operation Broken Mirror feels rough the first time you walk into it. Not "we had a bad run" rough, either. The Mega Abomination punishes lazy positioning, weak loadouts, and squads that don't talk. A lot of players use Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies to warm up their aim and movement before tackling harder content, but this fight still needs proper roles and clean calls. If everyone just chases damage, the run usually falls apart before the Exotic Weapon Case is even in reach.
Build the squad before you start shooting
The biggest mistake is letting four people bring four random setups. You need someone who can stand in, take pressure, and keep the boss from dragging the whole team across the arena. That's your Tank or Breacher, and Thermal Spike is a strong pick because it helps hold space. Then you want a Pyro who isn't obsessed with boss damage. Their job is add control, armor pressure, and keeping the floor from becoming a mess. The Support player matters just as much. Healing Aura can save a scuffed phase, while Aether Shroud gives you breathing room for revives. It's not flashy, but it wins runs.
Bring weapons that can work for more than ten seconds
This isn't the place for a cute multiplayer build with a tiny mag and fast ADS. You'll run dry, panic reload, and get slapped. High-capacity LMGs like the XMG are reliable because they keep damage on the weak points without constant downtime. Fast shotguns also work if the player knows when to push in and when to back off. Incendiary rounds help stop armor from coming back too quickly, while Shrapnel rounds are great for chewing through thick plates. Keep Stim Shots on hand. Not because you plan to mess up, but because this boss will absolutely catch someone mid-slide or mid-reload.
Break the armor with focus, not noise
The first phase is all about discipline. Don't spray the torso because it looks big. That's how teams waste ammo and blame the game. Call one weak point, burn it down, then move to the next. The glowing joints and central carapace are the real targets. If your Pyro can drop heat under the boss while the Tank keeps it steady, the armor cracks much faster. Once the lockdown starts, switch your brain off boss damage for a minute. Elite adds will flood the room, and they need to go. Wingman Drones can pull pressure away, and Conductive Shots are brilliant when enemies start stacking up.
Stay alive when the arena turns ugly
At around thirty percent health, the fight gets nasty. The Mega Abomination starts charging harder, corruption trails cut off safe lanes, and people who stand still get deleted. Don't try to prove anything. Keep moving around the edge, slide through gaps, and save your big throws for moments when the boss finishes a charge. Thermites, Semtex, and any leftover field pressure should go straight into the exposed spots. Once it drops, grab the Exotic Case and move. Some players even choose to buy Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies so they can practise routes and gun handling more comfortably before farming rewards like the Lethal Injection blueprint or Aftershock skin.
