Rough idle and misfire on my JK, injectors to blame? - winonanance - 09-17-2026

I've got a 2014 Wrangler with the 3.6 and lately it's been idling rough at stoplights, almost like it's missing, and the check engine light came on twice last month then went off on its own. Fuel economy dropped too, I used to get around 13L/100km mixed driving and now I'm lucky to see 15. I tried the usual stuff, new plugs, cleaned the throttle body, ran a bottle of injector cleaner through a full tank but nothing changed. A buddy said it might be clogged injectors or a failing coil pack, but I don't want to just throw parts at it. I started reading about how these engines can get carbon buildup and that a proper ultrasonic clean is way better than the pour in stuff. That led me to a certified Jeep injector specialist in Mussafah that actually flow tests them before and after, which seems like the right way to go. Has anyone had similar symptoms? Did an injector service actually fix it or did it turn out to be something else like an O2 sensor? Also curious how long the job takes and if it's worth doing all six at once. Any advice would be appreciated before I book it in.
